Tennis Tournament

For what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life.

The Braden Aboud Memorial Junior Tennis Tournament features the best junior tennis players in the El Paso Southwest. This highly competitive tournament enters its fifth year, and is scheduled to be held at the El Paso Country Club.

Tennis was Braden’s first love, and his first exposure to competitive athletics. This tournament represents a tribute to those athletes who strive to be physically fit, competitive and committed to good sportsmanship. It is the intention of the foundation to utilize this annual event to promote a sport that encompasses the B STRONG theme adopted by the El Paso Independent School District. All proceeds of this event will be earmarked for citywide projects that more closely follow the foundation’s mission of giving back to the youth of El Paso.

The El Paso Country Club is the event venue, and it boasts great courts, spectator seating and a professional tournament director and staff. Players will receive t-shirts, backpacks and other giveaways. Lunch will be provided to all players.  Medals will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place finishers in all events, along with the outstanding male and female sportsmanship awards.
