B STRONG 5K Training

The B Strong Training Program is a fun exercise training program designed to get students and their parents ready to participate in their first 5K run or walk.  The six week training schedule includes two exercise training days during the school week and one on the weekend.  It is designed this way so that students can train two days with their PE Coaches at school and one day on the weekend with their families.  With this program we work directly with the El Paso Independent School District to get students interested in a healthy lifestyle through exercise, specifically running and walking.  Our program challenges students of all ages to train for and then participate in a 5K Run or Walk.  Working with the Physical Education department of each school, we provide training schedules and incentives for coaches and students to train for and take part in their first 5K event.  The goal is to teach the students that running or walking is an activity that they will be able to participate in for the rest of their lives in order to stay healthy.
